Ram - bounded or boundless

'राम नाम मनिदीप धरु जीह देहरीं द्वार।
तुलसी भीतर बाहेरहुँ जौं चाहसि उजिआर॥'
Says Goswami Tulsidas
He says the very name of Ram is like a lustrous stone which can dispel darkness both inside and outside.
In today's time when we all are busy running after maya( illusions), there is hardly any time to read holy scriptures. That is why it is suggested that in the modern times only his name would help us sail through the worldly ocean.
Ram naam ki loot hai loot sake to loot.
But who is this Ram we are talking about?
We know of one Ram, the son of King Dushrath, who was born in Ayodhya in ancient times. He was heroic and one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
The one on the auspicious occasion of Dusshera defeated and killed Ravana, the demon king.
Is it for this very reason Dusshera is celebrated every year;  let good prevail over evil.
Well if this is so then there are many heroic characters in the history. Shall we worship all of them?
The Ram that we know of is bounded by limits. Our Ram is restricted to our knowledge, tied within our realms.
How can HE be contained or limited when HIS periphery is so large that it is beyond our measure.
All these questions led me to a deep enquiry and I again seeked it in the words of Kabir.
' Sakal hans mei Ram viraje, Are Ram bina koi dhaam nahi'.
HE resides in every being and is present everywhere so if we really want to worship Ram we have to widen up our realms and see him everywhere in everyone or rather just look within.
'Moko kahan dhunde bande mei to tere saath mei.'
So is Ram limited in boundary for our convenience or is He boundless?
Further Kabir says there are 4 levels of Ram
' Ek Ram Dushrath ka beta,
Duja ghat ghat mei baitha,
Teeje Ram ka sakal pasaara
Chautha sabse nyaara.'
As we all know of the first Ram who is king Dushrath's son,
Second Ram is omnipresent,
Third one as wide
as universe and source of the energy in universe,
But it's the fourth Ram who is just so special,
He is unfathomable, we can't limit him in our words and thoughts.
Finally I realised that even though we have restricted our Ram in set boundaries for our convenience and selfish interest, He is boundless.
